All suppliers must have insurance coverage in place prior to entering any Trailer Fleet or any Trailer Fleet customer location and prior to performing any work on behalf of Trailer Fleet. This includes "repair suppliers" performing repairs at a Trailer Fleet location, on the road, at a customer location or at the supplier location. It also includes "drayage suppliers" picking up, delivering, storing or re-positioning Trailer Fleet equipment, including "repair suppliers" who move our trailers to their location for repairs.
Policy Definitions and Requirements:
- Supplier: Defined as any company contracted by Trailer Fleet to supply goods or services on or off site.

Classification:
- Repair Supplier (in-yard, mobile, at customer location, at Supplier location).
- Drayage Supplier (pick-up, delivery, or re-positioning of Trailer Fleet equipment, including Repair suppliers who move our trailers to their location for repairs).

Supplier Insurance Requirements:
- Trailer Fleet requires that all suppliers providing goods or services have liability coverage for Third Party Bodily Injury and Property Damage arising from work performed and all related activities.
- Repair Suppliers must have Commercial General Liability, or Garage Liability, and Worker's Compensation, or Occupational Injury and Disease Coverage.
- Repair Suppliers with Commercial General Liability who provide drayage should also carry Commercial Auto Liability and Commercial Auto Physical Damage for owned and non-owned vehicles.
- Repair Suppliers Insurance Requirements.
- Commercial General Liability with coverage for Premises Operations, Products Completed Operations, Contractual Liability, Broad Form Property Damage, Independent Contractors, and Personal Injury Liability protection. Minimum Limits:
- Each Occurrence $1,000,000
- General Aggregate $1,000,000
- Products-Completed Operations Aggregate $1,000,000
- Trailer Fleet International LLC named as Additional Insured on Item 1 above, or on a Suppliers' Garage Liability with coverage for Premises Operations, Products-Completed Operations, Contractual Liability, Broad Form Property Damage, Independent Contractors, and Personal Injury Liability protection.
- Garage Liability also provides auto liability for service vehicles and may also provide coverage for drayage.
- Minimum Limits
(1) Auto Only $1,000,000
(2) Other than Auto Only $1,000,000
(3) Annual Aggregate (if so limited) $3,000,000
- A Certificate evidencing coverage for Worker's Compensation covering their
employees if injury occurs as a result of the work they perform on our equipment. Trailer Fleet is not to be named additional insurance for Worker's Compensation.
- If the Repair Supplier is an individual with no employees then it is unlikely that Worker's Compensation will be carried, or available.
- Repair Suppliers with no employees must provide a Certificate evidencing coverage for Occupational Injury and Disease Coverage.
(1) Minimum coverage $300,000
(2) Must include Disability Income Coverage
(3) Annual Aggregate (if so limited) $3,000,000
- Repair/Drayage & Drayage Supplier Insurance Requirements:
- $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit per Occurrence.
- Or split limits of:
(1) $500,000 per person
(2) $1,000,000 per occurrence Bodily Injury
(3) $500,000 per occurrence Property Damage
- A Certificate evidencing the above with Trailer Fleet International LLC named as an Additional Insured.
- Physical Damage coverage for trailers in transit naming Trailer Fleet on the Certificate as Loss Payee.
- Commercial Auto Physical Damage for any trailer, owned and non-owned for Collision and Comprehensive, or Specified Perils including theft.
- Coverage for Actual Cash Value required.
- Suppliers providing drayage only may provide Physical Damage insurance via Motor Truck Cargo Legal Liability, or Garage Keepers Legal Liability.
- Garage Keepers Legal Liability provides coverage for the legal liability of the Vendor for Physical Damage Protection while the trailers are in the Vendor's care, custody and control and the naming Trailer Fleet as Loss Payee is not required.
- All Certificates must provide Trailer Fleet with a minimum of 30 days prior written notification of cancellation or material change.
Suppliers not willing to provide the above Certificates of Insurance naming Trailer Fleet as Additional Insured and Loss Payee cannot enter our facilities, or perform work on our equipment on our behalf.
